Should I exercise through the pain?
You should never get an increase in pain whilst doing the workouts. If you do I suggest you stop that particular exercise and join back in when we move onto another movement. It may be that you are always in pain and so exercising with your normal pain is ok so long as it doesn't increase. You may feel a discomfort from working muscles that haven't been used in a while and that is fine!
